Oh, Professor, I forgot to call you! I found him a few days ago, but I was so preoccupied- [You know, with making sure his little brother was healthy and whole and arranging to work in exchange for the room, plus those weird mood swings Hiro's been having...]

I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. We're both staying at the Midnight Hotel now.

Clean? You should see if he's got anything that needs fixing around, I'm sure you're capable of the mechanics. Or I could let you watch me while I work on some of the pieces; I've traded some labor for supplies with him in the past, and it'd be easy enough to have you take over now that I'm settled.

Ah, no, I don't think we've ever met. [But she obviously knows of him somehow, what with having his contact and such. And calling him at all considering he's pretty much let Hiro and Callaghan take charge of the whole shebang.]

I really couldn't say yes or no without talking to my partners first. How many people are we talking about?

[There are two reasons for that. One is that Hiro is a kid, and after dealing with Stark, well-meaning as Stark is, Xuiyu isn't going to go down that rabbit-hole. The other is that she has word Callaghan is working with the College, and this neatly minimises the potential of that 'conflicting interests' thing.]

Didn't think you could or would. There's three names I can give you who are good workers but, for one reason or another, haven't got a place at Stark Industries. I'd like to do right by them in lieu of that.

[Those... are pretty good reasons. And three names isn't too many. Really, if they keep their workflow steady they might just end up needing the extra hands anyway...]

We're a pretty small operation still, but we might be able to take on three provided we can all come to an agreement. I'm sure your people are plenty capable if they could handle work at Stark Industries.

Capable, yep. Two of them are young but they're good and eager. The third lost her arm in the invasion and wants to come out of retirement now she's found a replacement, but not into a big bustling company. She's got the experience, though.
